President Bassirou Diomaye Faye conveys the condolences of the Senegalese Nation to the brotherly people of Qatar

Reflecting the deep fraternal relations that unite our two nations, the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal to the State of Qatar reports that His Excellency Mr Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal — accompanied by Mrs Mame Coumba Diop, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Culture, Craft Industry and Tourism, in charge of Culture, Creative Industries and Historical Heritage, and by His Excellency Mr Cheikh Tidiane Sall, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the State of Qatar — called on His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, to present his condolences following the passing of the Father Emir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (may God grant him His mercy).

We implore God Almighty to grant the deceased His infinite mercy, to welcome him into His eternal Paradise, and to protect the State of Qatar, its leaders and its people from all harm.
