Senegal's Ambassador Meets with Qatar's Minister of Transportation to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

On 27 July 2026, H.E. Cheikh tidiane sall, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the State of Qatar, met with H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport of the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the sincere condolences of the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal and the Senegalese community in Qatar on the passing of the father of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, expressing heartfelt sympathy and prayers for the deceased.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Senegal and Qatar, particularly in the field of transport, and to explore prospects for further enhancing this partnership in the mutual interest of both countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, H.E. the Ambassador expressed his sincere appreciation to H.E. the Minister for his warm welcome, openness, and continued commitment to deepening the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between Senegal and Qatar.
