The Ambassador of Senegal Attends the Celebration of the 66th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire

On Friday, August 7, 2026, at the invitation of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to the State of Qatar, His Excellency Mr. Cheikh Tidiane Sall, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the State of Qatar, took part in the ceremony marking the 66th anniversary of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence.

Held at the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in Doha, this celebration brought together several members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Qatar, including Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Benin, and His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia. Numerous representatives of the Ivorian diaspora in Qatar, as well as friends of Côte d’Ivoire, were also present to share in this moment of commemoration and fellowship.

This ceremony provided an opportunity to reaffirm the bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation that unite the African peoples, while highlighting the excellent relations among the African diplomatic missions accredited to the State of Qatar.
